Nude Beach Map. Visited 2023
We kinda stumbled on this place while looking for info about another Paradise Beach, which is in Thasos. However this beach is located on the mainland and much closer to Thessaloniki, you could definitely visit on a daytrip from the city if you wanted. The beach did not disappoint but is a totally different vibe to most other popular Greek nude beaches.

Paradise Beach is stunning but it is obscured by lots of campers who have setup tents on the beach. We saw lots of car license plates near the trail from all over Europe…Bulgaria, Germany, Greece, UK.. etc It seems like the secret is out about this free camping spot and the visitors here have well and truly made themselves at home. Huge tents and awnings along with loungers dot the shoreline. Almost all the campers were naked. Whilst there is room for daytrippers we could help but feel like we kinda invaded their personal space for a few hours (we hadn’t). The best advice is to give them a friendly wave and get naked asap to let everyone know you are there for the right reasons… and not snooping.
The beach itself is a haven of soft, golden sand, and the bay encircles the area, providing a direct outlook to the ocean, creating a sense of privacy. The road doesn’t offer a view of the beach, and even the steep trail reveals the sand only at the last moment, ensuring that those seeking seclusion will find it here. One recommendation: bring water shoes. We assumed the golden sand would suffice, but sharp rocks in the ocean caught us by surprise, so it’s best to pack them if possible.
The place to stock up on supplies is Krifos Paradisos, a small grocery store near the highway. There are a few tavernas and guesthouses nearby but no amenities close-by the beach at all, so you’ll need to bring whatever you need. Shade seemed to be in short supply at the beach unless you had a tent. Maybe try to be really friendly to the campers and they’ll hook you up.. who knows!
The other nearest nude beach is Kalamitsi which is about a 20 minute drive away. Despite navigating the busting tourist town, the nude beach here is an absolute gem and way more suited to day visitors. This beach is definitely worth a visit also if you are in this part of the world.
If you want a secluded nude beach experience, Paradise Beach is the place. However, be prepared for a lack of amenities and the possibility of feeling like an outsider among long-term campers. Our visit in early summer found the beach crowded, and it’s not hard to imagine that space may become scarce during peak season. Hopefully, the locals remain welcoming, even as the beach becomes more popular!

Getting There
Paradise Beach is a quick 5-1o minute drive from the main highway passing through Destenika. It is currently labelled as 'Secret Nudist Paradise Beach' on Google Maps but that could change.
By Car: Take the exit off the main highway that is opposite the bus stop and labelled as 'Hotel Aretes' or 'Tristinika'. It is a sharp turn and will lead you past a small grocery store called Krifos Paradisos (this is your last chance to stock up on essentials by the way). Follow the road as it bends to the right past a hotel - Villa Sithonia Tristinika then take the next left and follow the dirt road to the right. You will find plenty of places here to park your car and take the well marked trail to the beach. Wear appropriate shoes as it can be tricky to navigate in parts.
