- Stunning: Lush pine sand and blue green waters. There is a reason people love camping in this hidden place.
- Unpretentious: With its laidback vibe, no one on this beach cares about your nude sun tanning or otherwise. It is an easy beach for a first timer as it is never too crowded.
- Snorkeling: Dive into some fantastic snorkeling right off the shore. The underwater scenery won't disappoint.
- Easy Trail: Though the beach is reached via a dirt road and seems out of the way, the descent to the water is fairly simple. Even with the steep terrain, you'll find yourself on the sand in about 5 minutes or so.
The Bad
- Lack of Day Visitors: This spot is mostly frequented by regulars, so newcomers might stand out. A friendly heads-up about your intentions should set the right tone.
- Rocky Shoreline: While the beach itself boasts soft sand, the shoreline quickly turns rocky as you enter the water. It can be rough at times, so bringing water shoes is highly recommended.
- No Amenities: Embrace the lack of facilities, as it's part of the charm that draws campers here. Make sure to pack everything you need, or grab supplies from a small grocery store just 10 minutes away. It's all about the self-sufficiency at this unspoiled spot.
The Naked Truth
Paradise Beach is a hidden gem, a secluded spot that draws nude campers to its stunning shores. Nestled amongst lush pine trees with blue-green waters, it offers a tranquil escape from the nearby crowded tourist beaches. While not too far from the beaten path, be aware that there are absolutely no facilities or amenities here. Space might be tight among the tents, and it might take a bit of effort to find a spot for your towel. The regulars can be protective of their territory, and while we've never experienced any issues, it might be a good idea to introduce yourself. That way, you can become part of this unique community, even if just for a day.
Insider Tip
Be careful entering the ocean! The smooth sands turns into sharp rocks very quickly. Most campers wear water shoes for this reason.
