Getting There
The Paradise Peak sits right at the heart of Saint Martin. It's the highest spot on the island, so you get some awesome views from up there. To get there, you'll cruise up Pic Paradis Road, winding through some seriously lush greenery. It's a little bit off the beaten path compared to the busy beachy hotspots, giving you a nice break from the usual crowd and noise.
By Car:
From Princess Juliana International Airport, drive east to Union Road and continue straight. After crossing into the French side, proceed along Rue de Hollande. Once you reach Marigot, continue on Rue de la République and turn right on Route de Pic Paradis. Follow this scenic route up to The Paradise Peak. Look for a sharp left with signs to “The Paradise Peak.” The journey should take about 30 minutes depending on traffic.
By Taxi:
From the Airport: A taxi ride from the airport to The Paradise Peak is likely to cost around $30 to $50. This price can fluctuate based on traffic, time of day, and any extra charges like luggage fees.
By Public Transport:
Minibus: The most budget-friendly option is the local minibus. From the airport to Marigot, the fare is about $2 to $5 per person. If you need to switch to another minibus or catch a taxi from Marigot to get closer to Pic Paradis Road, you might spend an additional $5 to $10 overall.
Important Note: Be sure to confirm all fares in advance, especially with taxis, to avoid any surprises. Tipping service providers like taxi drivers is customary, generally around 10-15% of the fare.
