About

What is Nude Beach Map?

Honest, independent information about nude beaches, naturist destinations and clothing-optional culture around the world.

We started Nude Beach Map after discovering just how amazing swimming nude and visiting clothing-optional places can be - and how many misconceptions still surround them.

Naturist spaces are often far more relaxed, welcoming and ordinary than people expect. We want to make them easier to understand and more approachable, whether you're curious about trying one for the first time or you've been doing it for years.

A lot of information online about nude beaches is outdated, incomplete or simply wrong. We've spent countless hours looking for beaches that no longer exist or have since become textile-only.

That's why we favour quality over quantity. We visit destinations ourselves, work with local contributors and use reliable sources to keep our information as accurate and current as possible.

We aim to provide accurate, independent and up-to-date information about nude beaches and naturist destinations.
Whether it’s your first visit or you’re a regular, we want you to know what to expect before you go

Commercial relationships do not determine our editorial opinions, reviews or recommendations. We do not accept payment in return for a positive review or endorsement.

Some accommodation or product links may earn Nude Beach Map an affiliate commission. This does not determine whether a destination is listed or what we say about it.

Our Editorial Standards

Our editorial work is guided by accuracy, verification, independence, fairness and respect for the people and communities we cover.

We make reasonable efforts to verify factual information before publication using first-hand visits, local contributors, official sources and other reliable information. If we learn that something we've published is materially inaccurate, we'll investigate and correct it as promptly as practical.

Reviews and opinions remain independent. Advertisers, partners, resorts and tourism organisations do not have the right to approve or alter our editorial conclusions.

Technology, including AI tools, may assist our research, production or editing, but published editorial content is reviewed by a human and editorial responsibility remains with Nude Beach Map.

Privacy Disclosure Content

We respect the privacy and dignity of the people and communities we cover. We take particular care around photography and filming in naturist environments. We do not intentionally publish identifiable images of people in clothing-optional situations without appropriate consent, except where there is a clear and legitimate journalistic reason to do so. We aim to portray naturism accurately and respectfully, without sexualisation or sensationalism.
