The Bad

- Parking Distance: Parking is about 1 km away, followed by a walk down to the beach.
The Naked Truth
Spiaggia della Rocca is a beautiful, relatively secluded spot on Lake Garda, with clear water, rocky surroundings and plenty of natural shade.
Although it is not an officially designated naturist beach, nude sunbathing is common and generally tolerated. The beach attracts a varied crowd, including naturists, couples, families, friends and LGBTQ+ visitors, and the atmosphere is usually peaceful and relaxed.
Access involves a steep walk down from the parking area, and the rocky shoreline can make entering the water difficult, so swimming shoes are recommended.
Some visitors have reported occasional voyeuristic or inappropriate behaviour, particularly when visiting alone. Staying close to other naturists and visiting during busier daytime hours may feel more comfortable.
Overall, it is a scenic and nude-friendly alternative to Lake Garda’s more crowded beaches.
Insider Tip
Visit on a weekday and go with company if possible. Bring everything you need, as there are no facilities and the walk back up can be tiring.
Who's Here
A mix of hikers, locals, couples and visitors exploring quieter parts of Lake Garda.
Beach Surface
The beach is mostly pebbles and flat rock slabs, with clear water that deepens gradually. Some areas behind the beach have grassy or natural resting spots.
Access Difficulty
Moderate: Access requires a walk along forest trails with some uneven and slightly steep sections.

Getting There
Spiaggia della Rocca is located along the shores of Lake Garda, near rocky cliffs and natural parkland areas. The beach is not directly accessible by road and requires a short hike through scenic trails.
By Car: Drive toward the nearest access point above the cliffs near the Rocca area, where paid parking is available (around 1 km from the beach). From there, follow marked walking trails down toward the lake.
By Public Transport: Public transport options are limited, but you can reach nearby towns around Lake Garda by bus. From there, continue on foot toward the Rocca trails leading down to the beach.
By Foot: Follow the marked paths (often with red and white trail markers) through forested areas toward the lake. The descent takes around 10–20 minutes, with some sections close to the edge, so careful footing is required.
