Nudity Policy
OPTIONALNudity is optional but very common
The Good
- Crystal-clear waters: Baška Voda’s FKK beach is praised for its transparency; you can swim several meters out and still see the seabed clearly. The clean, calm Adriatic makes it ideal for swimming and snorkeling, with many visitors feeding fish close to shore. This makes it one of the perfect nude beaches in Croatia.
- Relaxed naturist area: The designated FKK zone, marked by clear signage, provides a comfortable space for naturists. Mid-September and off-season months offer a particularly peaceful atmosphere with few textiles and plenty of shade.
- Easy access and basic amenities: Despite its secluded feel, the beach is within walking distance of Baška Voda town and Baško Polje campsite. Showers (coin-operated), restrooms, and a small seasonal bar add convenience for longer stays.
- Wide and scenic setting: The beach sits beneath pine-covered slopes with views of the Biokovo Mountains, offering both sun and natural shade. It’s one of the wider FKK stretches along the Makarska Riviera.
The Bad
- Seasonal crowds: From mid-July to mid-August, the beach becomes crowded, and shade spots fill early. Off-season visits are far more pleasant.
- Water cleanliness concerns: Some reviewers noted occasional surface debris during peak season, possibly linked to nearby camping sites. Conditions vary day by day.
- Mixed visitors: While mostly naturist, some textile beachgoers wander in, and a few visitors mention discomfort with intrusive behavior or photography attempts.
- Rough access road: The gravel track to the beach can be uneven after heavy rains, so a careful drive (or walking the last stretch) is recommended.
The Naked Truth
Baška Voda FKK Beach balances accessibility with natural tranquility. It’s ideal for those who enjoy clear water, respectful company, and the freedom of naturism without total isolation. While the atmosphere is relaxed, it’s best visited in the shoulder months, when the crowds thin and the Adriatic shines at its cleanest. This is a solid pick for a Croatian naturist beach.
Insider Tip
Bring your own mat or inflatable pad - the pebbles can be sharp and sun loungers are pricey (around €25/day). If you prefer privacy, walk toward the far southern end where the slope creates natural shade and quiet corners.
Who's Here
Mostly adults and couples - a mix of locals, German and Czech naturists, and respectful textile visitors in nearby zones.
Beach Surface
Medium pebbles with gentle water entry; some rocky patches near the edges.
Access Difficulty
Easy to moderate: gravel path with light descent from the main road.
