The Good
- Picture perfect: The beach is pristine, the scenery is stunning and the sand is soft, fluffy and white
- Very friendly and safe: You'll find people of all ages here and lots of families (many of them enjoying a nude beach for the first time). The beach normally has an equal ratio of men to women
- Spacious: The beach stretches quite a distance, giving you plenty of space to find the perfect spot
The Bad
- Lack of facilities: Apart from Porta Potties and the occasional food truck you won't find anything else here. No showers to clean off at the end of the day, so bring some water to wash the sand off your feet
- Seaweed & wind: On windy days the fine sand can get picked up and blown across the beach. Seaweed is also common when the surf is rough
- Potential crowds: While the beach is often peaceful, it can become busy during the late afternoon, particularly on sunny days. However, due to its size, it does not typically feel crowded. Parking is limited to 20 spaces and it can fill up fast

The Naked Truth
Blind Creek Beach is a delightful welcoming, low-key and tranquil beach that truly respects the naturist ethos. Sure, there might be more popular or accessible nude beaches in Florida, but none offer the same unspoiled charm and respectful atmosphere. Blind Creek Beach lacks some facilities but is worth the effort and there is a reason why it is a popular destination for some people's first nude beach experience.
Insider Tip
The quiet part of the beach is to the right when you are walking towards it. This is the place to go if you want more solitude!
Who's Here
Friendly locals and visitors of all ages. Lots of families with a decent amount of older snowbirds. Average age is generally much younger on weekends.

Tucked away on Hutchinson Island in Fort Pierce, Florida, Blind Creek Beach is an all-natural haven that's kept under the radar, mostly by those who know and love it. This barrier island refuge is one of the most tranquil nude beaches in the Sunshine State, perhaps partly because it is also one of the least known. If it's serenity and unspoiled beauty you're after, then Blind Creek Beach is definitely worth seeking out.

On a typical day at Blind Creek Beach, the ratio between men and women seems relatively balanced, with everyone in harmony, comfortable in their skin and respect for each other's personal space. Everyone was naturally nude, indicating how this spot truly embraces the nude beach vibes. The beach is immaculately maintained, with no trace of litter to be found during our visit, a testament to the respectful community that frequents it.
Upon arrival, you're met by a scenic expanse of shoreline, stretching into the horizon. The beach is primarily sandy, but patches of seashell-covered areas add a unique charm. The water, warmed by the Florida sun, provides a refreshing break from the heat, without the post-swim chill often experienced at more northern beaches.
The parking lot provides space for about 20 cars and doesn't seem to get overly crowded, even on weekends. There are no marked trails to the beach, but follow the beaten path through the coastal vegetation, and you'll find your way to this paradise within a 10-minute walk.
The most significant difference compared to other beaches is the quietness. Unlike Haulover Beach, you can't hear the city or traffic buzzing at all, and any occasional noise is more likely to be the rustling of palm fronds in the sea breeze or the distant call of a shorebird. The tranquility of Blind Creek Beach is one of its most endearing qualities.
The beach extends quite a ways, providing plenty of space to choose the perfect sunbathing spot. The far end of the beach to the right tends to be more secluded, offering an ideal location for those seeking a little more privacy. In contrast, the central areas are typically more social, often attracting friendly groups enjoying the sun, sea, and good conversation. There are normally lots of first timers and families here, which goes to show how safe everyone feels at this beach. Volunteer beach ambassadors also help visitors, answer questions and ensure the vibe of the nude beach is respected.
As with many nude beaches, there are no amenities or facilities at Blind Creek Beach. Make sure you pack all the essentials you'll need for the day and perhaps a sturdy beach blanket to lay on the sandy shores comfortably. The closest facilities and vendors are a fair drive away in downtown Fort Pierce, so it's best to come prepared. Occasionally there is a hot dog truck at the car park on weekends, but don't rely on that being there as the schedule seems to be very random.
Visitors start trickling in as the morning sun warms the sand, and by late afternoon, the beach can become quite lively. But even when busy, it never seems crowded thanks to its considerable length. With stunning views of the surrounding natural beauty, spending sunset here is an unforgettable experience. You can watch the sun dip below the horizon while enjoying the warm, gentle sea breeze.
Blind Creek Beach is highly recommended and one of the best nude beaches in the US. It offers a relaxed, less crowded alternative that feels a world away from the city's hustle and bustle. The beach's serene atmosphere and unspoiled scenery make it a hidden gem among Florida's nude beaches. However, be prepared for a lack of facilities and amenities and a slight hike to the beach itself. If you appreciate nature, tranquility, and a welcoming community, you'll surely love Blind Creek Beach.

Getting There
Blind Creek Beach is easy to reach by car but unfortunately no public transportation options exist. The easiest place to get a taxi or Uber would be Fort Piece.
There's no shortage of parking here at Blind Creek Beach, and the best part – it's absolutely free. You've got two choices: a paved parking lot or a grassy one, both conveniently located right next to the beach. And if those happen to be full, no worries, you can easily park along A1A.
- From Interstate 95 (I-95): If you're coming from I-95, you'll want to take exit 131B (Orange Avenue/FL-68) if you're traveling south, or exit 131 if you're heading north. Then head east on FL-68 E (Orange Avenue) toward Fort Pierce.
- Head toward Hutchinson Island: After about 7 miles, turn right onto South Ocean Drive/Florida A1A and continue south for about 7 miles. You'll cross two bridges to reach Hutchinson Island.
- Arriving at Blind Creek Beach: After traveling south on South Ocean Drive/Florida A1A, you will find Blind Creek Beach on your right-hand side. Look for the signs, and you'll find two parking areas adjacent to the beach. The beach is an easy 500-1000ft walk over the sand dunes.
