The Good
- Expansive Grassed Area: Offers lots space for relaxation and sunbathing, even on busy days it never feels crowded here.
- Abundant Trees and Shade: Surrounded by greenery, the beach offers a serene and picturesque environment. The beach is dotted with plenty of trees providing shade, making it ideal to easily escape the hot sun.
- Restrooms Within Nudist Area: Conveniently located facilities ensure you don't have to dress / undress every time you need to take a trip to the bathroom.
- Clear and Warm Water: The water quality is excellent, making it inviting for swimming and wading. The gentle slope and shallow water makes it ideal for children to have a fun day out as well.
The Bad
- Parking Challenges on Hot Weekends: Limited parking space that tends to fill up quickly during peak times and hot weekends.
- Geese and Their Poo: There are lots of geese in the area and you'll need to dodge their waste, unfortunately this can be a challenge at times.
- Distance from S-Bahn Station: Despite excellent public transportation in Munich, the lake is still a 20 minute walk from the nearest station. Making it a little harder (but definitely not impossible) to reach from the city.

The Naked Truth
Feringasee (Feringa Lake) in Munich is a hidden gem and a popular nude lake. Its vast space, shaded by numerous trees, makes it a perfect spot to unwind in the buff. The water is warm and crystal clear, inviting for a refreshing dip. While the presence of geese and their leftovers can be a minor nuisance, it's a small price to pay for such a serene environment. The only real downside is its distance from public transportation, making access slightly challenging. But once you're there, the tranquility and natural beauty of the place make every effort worthwhile. In our opinion, it's the best spot for nudism in Munich, outshining others in the area with its peaceful setting and ample space.
Insider Tip
After paying for parking turn left and drive all the way down. There is a smaller parking which is much closer to the nudist area and saves a 5-10min walk
Who's Here
Mostly older people but after 4pm and on weekends also many younger people and families
Beach Surface
Grass lawns and small rocks in the first few meters inside the water
Access Difficulty

We just had a delightful day at Feringasee Lake, a serene spot only 30 minutes from Munich by car. While it's a bit further out than Pullinger Weiher, the scenic beauty and tranquility here are unparalleled, without a single overhead plane to disturb the peace. As we arrived at 2pm on a hot weekend, we noticed the car park was filling up fast. Learning the hard way, we advise turning left after paying for parking to find a smaller lot closer to the nudist area, saving a good 5-10 minute walk from the main parking. There was still plenty of space in the nude (FKK) area on the grass and in the water.

Feringasee is quite expansive, with lots of trees offering ample shade - a real boon on a sunny day. The nudist area, mostly frequented by older folks during business hours, becomes a hub for younger crowds and families on weekends. The water here is incredibly clear and warm, perfect for a leisurely swim. And if you want a bite or a drink, there's a quaint snack bar right in front of the nudist area, although we prefer to bring our own food for a picnic.
The atmosphere at Feringasee is relaxed and friendly, ideal for both nudist newbies and veterans. It's a great place to socialize, as we found that the local regulars all seem to know one another, it is a welcoming place. The beach itself is well-maintained, with volleyball courts and a small restaurant playing music, adding to the leisurely feel. While it can get crowded, especially in the afternoon, the vastness of the area means you can always find a spot to lay your towel.
The nudist area of Feringasee is a part of a larger recreational space, complete with a beer garden, barbecue facilities, and even areas for children, making it a versatile destination for various interests and textiles. Parking costs 3 euros but is free after 6:00 p.m. The lake is not only a popular choice among Munich's naturists but also a delightful escape from the city's hustle. For those exploring nude places in Germany, Feringasee is a must-visit, offering a mix of natural beauty, a friendly nudist scene, and facilities that cater to a whole day of relaxation.
