The Good
- Calm and authentic: FKK Beach Sovinje on the island of Pašman is one of Croatia’s most peaceful naturist beaches, known for its relaxed, community-style atmosphere. It’s part of the Sovinje Naturist Camp, a small, tidy campground that directly faces the Adriatic’s calm turquoise waters.
- Beautiful and simple setting: The beach offers both sandy and rocky areas framed by pine trees, making it ideal for swimming, wading, or just soaking in the coastal views. The sunsets here are particularly striking, painting the horizon in gold and pink.
- Clean and quiet: Reviews consistently mention well-maintained facilities and the absence of traffic or noise, especially during the off-season. The water is shallow and calm, suitable even for beginners and families.
- Pet-friendly: There’s a designated dog beach nearby, making it a welcoming spot for pet owners.
The Bad
- Limited amenities: There’s no market or café onsite. You’ll need to bring your own food and drinks or make a short trip to Tkon for supplies.
- Small and crowded in summer: The sandy area is limited, and by evening, shade covers much of the beach. During peak months, it can feel cramped.
- Noise from the mainland: Some visitors mention hearing loud music drifting from Biograd, especially on weekends.
- Access road: The narrow road to the campsite can be tricky for large vehicles or trailers.
The Naked Truth

The vibe is respectful and laid-back, with most visitors keeping to themselves. If you’re after a peaceful naturist experience surrounded by greenery and sea views, Sovinje is a great choice for a naturist beach in Croatia and a hidden gem.
