The Good
- Lives up to the hype: This is one of the most well-known nude beaches on Pag Island and it genuinely earns that reputation. The setting is stunning.
- Easy parking (if you know where to go): Free parking is available within a two-minute walk when you follow the correct approach.
- Unapologetically FKK: Clear signage everywhere makes it obvious this is a nude beach. No ambiguity, no awkwardness.
The Bad
- Hard to find: Google Maps led us astray. Without proper directions, it’s easy to end up parking in the wrong (paid) area.
- Busy in peak season: This beach is popular, so expect company during summer months.
- Rocky surface: The rocks can make lying directly on a towel uncomfortable - lounge chairs are a better option.
The Naked Truth
This is one of Pag’s most iconic nude beaches for a reason. Tucked into a rocky cove at the northern end of the island, it delivers crystal-clear blue water, dramatic scenery, and a proper FKK atmosphere that leaves no room for confusion.
It manages to feel both famous and slightly off the beaten path - provided you have the right directions. If you’re visiting Pag Island and want a classic, no-nonsense nude beach experience, this one absolutely deserves a spot on your list.
Reviews say that police regularly patrol this beach and give fines to textiles. However we didn't find any proof of this.. but everyone that visits here are naked based on our experience.
Insider Tip
Don’t park in the main Stara Novalja or Beach Jadra parking area. It’s paid and still a long walk to the FKK section. Follow our Getting There directions below for free parking much closer to the beach.
Who's Here
Naturist purists - mostly locals and some tourists in the know.
Beach Surface
Rocky with pebbles and underwater cool springs
Access Difficulty
Easy: Two-minute downhill walk from the parking area

Our Visit
Matt & Megan
Nude Beach Map - Visited 2025
This beach is a purist FKK beach and the locals want us to know that with its multiple markings labelling it as such. It might seem aggressive but it helps make it clear to tourists that if you’re planning to hang at this beach, it is naturist which we can respect. It’s also rumoured that police patrol this beach and enforce its FKK status by ticketing textiles. We didn’t see this ourselves during our visit.

This beach is truly something special. It’s a cove on the northern end of Pag ISland. Don’t make the same mistake we did and trust Google maps to get you there. We did and ended up wasting 5 euros on parking in the main area which we quickly realized was still far away from the FKK side of the beach so we ended up reparking in a free area closer to the beach. Follow our Getting There directions below for the exact details.
Once we finally arrived, we couldn’t believe we had the entire beach to ourselves. This was short lived as a few others showed up about half an hour later but we really enjoyed the serenity while we had it!
This is a rocky beach so it’s best for lounge chairs. We had a blanket and ended up spending most of our time in the water because it was just so gorgeous and refreshing. There are springs in the water as well, providing cool bursts every few meters.
There is a restaurant in the clothed section of the beach (which is a short drive away) but you would have to pay for parking to eat there, best to bring your own food and drinks. FKK Jadra Beach was our favourite naturist beach on Pag Island (actually, maybe it's a tie with Plaza Cista).

Getting There
This beach is marked on Google and Apple Maps as Plaza Jadra (there are several with this name). It’s located on the northern side of Pag and feels remote once you’re on the final approach, but access is actually straightforward if you know what to expect.
The last stretch of road is dirt, but it’s not overly bumpy and is manageable in a standard car or van when driven slowly. Once you arrive, the beach is clearly visible below.
By Car:
Navigate to Plaza Jadra on Google or Apple Maps (take the fork to the right and not straight ahead to the paid beach). The final section is an unpaved dirt road , but it’s in decent condition and doesn’t require a high-clearance vehicle. Drive slowly and you’ll be fine.
Parking is available close to the beach, with only a short downhill walk of about two minutes to reach the shoreline.
On foot:
This beach isn’t really suited to long walks from nearby towns due to its location and lack of coastal paths. It would be around a 45 minute walk in the heat from Stara Novalja (no shade at all). Walking access works best once you’ve parked near the top and head down to the beach.
By Boat:
Arriving by boat is also an option and gives you a beautiful view of the cove from the water. Several visitors anchor offshore and swim in.
