Knähaken is one of those places that feels genuinely Scandinavian; simple, natural, and low-key. It’s not flashy or resort-like, but that’s part of the appeal. The crowd tends to be relaxed and respectful, with a comfortable mix of ages and body types, which makes it approachable even for first-time naturists. Many visitors describe it as friendly without being overly social, you can chat if you want, or keep completely to yourself.
What really defines the experience is the environment: open sea views, clean air, and that refreshing Nordic water. You do need to come prepared because there’s very little infrastructure, but if you’re looking for a straightforward, authentic Swedish nude beach near a city, it delivers exactly that.

Getting There
Knähaken is located south of central Helsingborg along the Öresund coast near the industrial harbor area.
By Car: Drive toward Högastensgatan in southern Helsingborg. Parking areas are available near the coastline, followed by a short walk to the beach.
By Foot or Bike: Cycling paths run along the coast from Helsingborg city. Walking from nearby neighborhoods is also straightforward.
By Public Transportation: Local buses run toward the southern Helsingborg area. From the nearest stop, expect a short walk to the shoreline. There is no direct bus drop-off at the beach itself.
