Nudity expected throughout

The Good

  • Hidden naturist setting: This is a true off the radar beach where nudity is the norm, not the exception. It stays quiet and natural, far removed from the usual Mykonos beach scene.
  • Clear blue green water: The sea here is strikingly clean with a rich blue green tone. It deepens quickly, which makes it better for proper swimming rather than wading.
  • Peaceful isolation: Even in peak season, the beach rarely feels crowded. It’s one of the few places on the island where you can genuinely feel alone.
  • Raw untouched feel: There are no beach clubs, no music, and no organized setups. Just open space, rocks, and sea, which gives it a very grounded and real atmosphere.
  • Short but rewarding walk: The final stretch is a 10 minute walk through a rough path and steps. It adds just enough effort to keep the crowd away without being extreme.
  • Wind tolerant layout: The mix of sand and pebbles with slightly raised ground makes it more manageable than expected even when there is light wind.

The Bad

  • No shade at all: There are no trees, umbrellas, or natural cover. You are fully exposed to the sun the entire time.
  • Rough access path: The dirt road ends before the beach, followed by a rocky and uneven descent. It’s not ideal if you’re carrying a lot.
  • Wind exposure risk: When northern winds hit, the water becomes choppy and the experience drops significantly.
  • Deep water entry: The sea gets deep quickly, which may not suit weaker swimmers or those who prefer gradual entry.
  • No services nearby: There are no toilets, no food, no drinks, and no rentals. You need to bring everything yourself.
  • Limited daylight window: Being on the eastern side, the sun leaves earlier in the evening, so the usable beach time is shorter.
Naked Truth

The Naked Truth

Mini Lia is one of those places that feels a world away from the busier side of Mykonos. There are no beach clubs, no music and very little fuss - just clear water, a quiet bay and a much more relaxed crowd.

It takes a little more effort to get here than some of the better-known nude beaches in Mykonos, but that’s part of what keeps it peaceful. Once you’re down on the beach, it feels tucked away and naturally suited to clothing-optional swimming and sunbathing.

Don’t come expecting facilities or a big social scene. Mini Lia is at its best if you want somewhere simple, low-key and relatively secluded. Bring what you need for the day, settle in, and enjoy one of the quieter corners of the island.

Insider Tip

Bring everything you need for the day, especially water, food, and shade like an umbrella. Wear proper footwear for the walk down, and aim to arrive earlier in the day to enjoy more sunlight before it fades. Avoid days with strong northern winds if you want calm water.

Who's Here

Mostly naturists, solo travelers, and quiet couples looking for complete freedom away from Mykonos crowds.

Beach Surface

A mix of sand and pebbles with some rocky patches, comfortable enough with a towel but not fully soft.

Access Difficulty

Moderate to slightly difficult due to the dirt road ending and the short but uneven walk down to the beach.
