Moulin de Chez Joyeux is a serene naturist bed and breakfast nestled within the idyllic countryside of Thiat, France. Set on over 13 acres of lush, private grounds, this historic estate spans both sides of the peaceful La Brame River, offering secluded pathways, quiet islands, and private little beaches perfect for relaxation. The main house and charming old miller’s buildings sit amid a landscaped garden filled with cozy nooks, hammocks, and sun loungers, inviting guests to unwind in nature.
Each spacious apartment is air-conditioned and features a private terrace with breathtaking views, a well-equipped kitchenette, and an en-suite bathroom. Wake up to a generous breakfast buffet with fresh pastries, fruits, and cheeses, then spend your day by the solar-heated pool or exploring nearby picturesque villages. In the evening, join a communal four-course dinner, where the flavors of France come alive in a tranquil dining experience.
Activities abound, with table tennis, badminton, and even fishing spots where you can catch trout and carp. Guests can also enjoy the sauna, hot tub, and honesty bar stocked with drinks for a peaceful retreat.
Please Note: Moulin de Chez Joyeux is an adults-only, clothing-optional retreat, open to naturists from June through September.

If you’re driving, Moulin de Chez Joyeux is located about 37 kilometers from the A20 motorway (Vierzon-Toulouse), making it easily accessible by car. Set your GPS to "Moulin de Chez Joyeux, Thiat" for direct navigation. Once you reach Thiat, follow the signs along a quiet country lane to our property, where ample private parking awaits.
By Train:
The nearest train stations are in Le Dorat, approximately 11 kilometers away, and Bellac, around 24 kilometers from the property. We can arrange transfers from these stations to Moulin de Chez Joyeux for an extra fee—just let us know your arrival time in advance.
By Air:
The closest airports are Limoges – Bellegarde Airport, situated 56 kilometers away, and Poitiers-Biard Airport, around 78 kilometers from our B&B. If you're arriving by plane, we can help coordinate a transfer to Moulin de Chez Joyeux upon request. Car rental is also available at the airport for those who prefer the flexibility of driving.
