The Naked Truth
Área Longa feels like a place where nature comes first and everything else is secondary. Naturism is common here; not mandatory, but widely practiced, and the general atmosphere is respectful and relaxed, with couples, solo visitors, families, and even dogs sharing the space comfortably.

Getting There
Praia de Área Longa is located near Castro de Baroña, between Porto do Son and Ribeira in Galicia, Spain.
By Car: Drive toward Castro de Baroña archaeological site. Park near the restaurant or designated roadside areas, then follow the marked walking path toward Área Longa beach (about 10–15 minutes on foot).
By Foot: From the Castro de Baroña area, follow coastal trails through the pine forest toward the beach.
By Public Transportation: You can take regional buses to nearby towns such as Noia or Porto do Son, then continue by taxi or local bus toward Baroña. Final access requires walking to the beach. There is no direct public transport to the sand itself.
