Nudity Policy

OPTIONAL

Nudity is optional but common

The Good

  • Secluded and peaceful: Slatina Beach, located west of Bol on Brač Island, is one of the area’s most tranquil coves. Hidden between pine trees and rocky cliffs, it’s a perfect escape from the near bustle of Zlatni Rat and other popular beaches.
  • Crystal-clear water: The sea here is exceptionally clear and calm, making it ideal for swimming or snorkeling. Even though fish sightings can vary, visibility is fantastic.
  • Wild beauty: The natural setting is stunning; rugged cliffs, a small cave for shade, and a sense of privacy that few beaches near Bol can offer. Visitors describe it as peaceful, unspoiled, and rarely crowded, even in summer.
  • Ideal for quiet relaxation: Many people visit to read, sunbathe, or simply watch the passing sailboats. It’s the kind of beach where you’ll likely share the space with only a handful of others.

The Bad

  • Difficult access: The walk down can be steep and slippery, especially via the forest trail. Good shoes and water are a must. The concrete road route is safer but has no shade and can feel long under the sun.
  • No facilities: There are no bars, showers, or restrooms nearby, so bring supplies and leave no trash behind.
  • Limited parking: The road leading to the start of the trail is rocky, narrow, and without railings in some parts. Parking is informal and limited, mainly on unpaved pull-offs.
  • Sea urchins: Some swimmers report sea urchins near the rocky parts of the shore. Wearing water shoes is recommended.
Naked Truth

The Naked Truth

Slatina is one of those hidden Croatian nude beaches that rewards effort. It’s quiet, scenic, and feels worlds away from Bol’s crowds. While the trek and rough road might discourage casual visitors, those who make it are rewarded with solitude, turquoise water, and a calm, natural setting perfect for slow days and long swims.

Insider Tip

Arrive early in the morning to avoid the harsh midday sun during the uphill return. Bring snorkeling gear, water shoes, and plenty of water. If you’re using an ATV, it can make the rough terrain much more manageable and fun.

Who's Here

Naturists and textile sunbathers mix comfortably. Expect mostly couples and solo travelers seeking quiet, not families with kids or pets.

Beach Surface

Pebbles and sand with rocky edges.

Access Difficulty

Moderate to challenging: steep dirt and forest paths with limited shade.

Our Visit

Kasia and Kornel
@naturystka Visited 2025

This is a more rugged, untamed nude beach located about a kilometre past the village of Murvica when coming from Bol. There’s no official FKK signage here, but nudity is clearly the norm. Everyone on the beach during our visit was nude, and the atmosphere felt quietly understood rather than formally designated.

Getting here gives you a couple of options. You can park in Murvica at the paid lot and walk, or continue along a dirt road and park for free just above the beach. There’s only space for a handful of cars if you choose the second option, but it’s convenient if you time it right. From the parking area, the walk down is short but steep - around 100 metres - with two different paths leading to the beach. It’s manageable, but you’ll want decent footwear, especially on the way back up in the heat.

Once down, the beach opens up nicely and feels spacious. The terrain is mostly rocky with a mix of finer stones and patches of sand, and it’s comfortable enough to lay a towel straight on the ground without needing a mat. One thing to note is the lack of shade.. there’s nowhere to escape the sun, so an umbrella or sun protection is essential, especially midday.

A dramatic cave sits above the beach and adds to the wild, almost cinematic feel of the place. The views across the channel toward Hvar Island are beautiful and uninterrupted, and the setting feels open and exposed in a way that will really appeal to people who enjoy raw coastal landscapes. We also noticed boats anchored nearby, which makes this beach particularly appealing if you’re exploring the area by sea.

There are no facilities here at all - no food, no drinks, no toilets - so you’ll need to be fully self-sufficient. The entry into the water is gentle and easy, making swimming relaxed despite the rocky surroundings. There is a visible power line and a small distribution station above the beach, which slightly breaks the illusion of total wilderness, but it didn’t detract too much from the overall experience.

All up, this is a classic Croatian wild nude beach: scenic, unpolished, and refreshingly simple. It’s best suited to confident beachgoers who are comfortable with minimal amenities and a bit of effort to get there. If you’re looking for privacy, space, and stunning views rather than comfort or convenience, this one delivers.
