Their Description
La Chiappa isn’t just a resort - it’s a slice of Corsican nature shaped around the idea of freedom, simplicity and respect. Set on a preserved 60-hectare headland with sweeping views of the Cerbicale Islands, the naturist village invites you to slow down, breathe deeply and live in harmony with the sea, sun and fragrant maquis that embrace the site.
For over 50 years, La Chiappa has welcomed guests into a warm, family-friendly community where naturism is approached as a lifestyle rooted in respect for yourself, others and the environment. Whether you’re unwinding on sandy coves, exploring crystal waters, or sharing laughter at one of the village’s restaurants or activities, every moment is about reconnecting with what matters and making memories in a peaceful, unspoilt setting.

Getting There
La Chiappa is tucked away on Corsica’s southeast coast, about 15–20 minutes from Porto-Vecchio. Once you leave the main road, the drive becomes more scenic and a little winding, but it’s well signposted and straightforward if you follow directions carefully. The final stretch feels remote - pine forest, rocky coastline, that “you’re nearly there” Corsican vibe, but access is easy and fully paved all the way to the entrance.
By Car:
From Porto-Vecchio, follow signs toward Palombaggia, then La Chiappa is clearly marked along the coastal road. The drive takes around 20 minutes.
If you’re coming from Figari Airport, allow about 35–40 minutes. From Bastia, it’s roughly 2.5 hours, and from Ajaccio, around 3 hours depending on traffic and mountain roads.
Parking is available on-site inside the resort grounds. If you’re staying at La Chiappa, you’ll have designated parking close to your accommodation. Day visitors should check reception on arrival for current access rules and parking arrangements.
By Public Transport:
Public transport to La Chiappa is limited. There are buses between Figari Airport and Porto-Vecchio, and between major Corsican towns, but there is no direct bus to the resort itself.
From Porto-Vecchio, you would need to take a taxi for the final 15–20 minute stretch. During peak summer months, taxis can be busy, so it’s best to book ahead if possible.
If you’re planning to explore Corsica beyond just the resort, renting a car is highly recommended. It gives you flexibility to visit nearby beaches like Palombaggia and Santa Giulia plus it makes the journey to La Chiappa simple and stress-free.
